I Wish You Happy Birthday

Hi crafty friends! Today I'm sharing with you my  card featuring the Lenten Rose Para-dies from the latest release.

To make the card I  first,  die cut the Lenten Rose on a acetate sheet to use as stencil to trace the image on a watercolour paper.
Then I watercolored the flowers using my Schmincke  Horadam  Acquarell and I glued the colored rectangle on a white card base.
Over the  watercolored image I  added  3 white layers of the  Lenten Rose die cut.

As a last thing I added the sentiments: the big one is made using Gilded Expression stamp set and Gilded Expression coordinate die and the string one is from the Moments Hello stamp set.

and that's it!
Hope you like it and hope you would join us at our Instagram hop @nicolettaporcu.design.

Don't miss up this and go on my Ig account @nicolettaporcu.design.
But now let me share the card I made for the occasion:

To make my card I started by using the Songbird Serenade Press-tacular plate as a stamp. I inked it with Betterpress black ink and I pressed the image on a piece of Neenah Solar white paper.
Next up using the coordinate Songbird Serenade Layering stencils, I ink blended the image using Distress and Oxide inks.

Here the colors I used:
Leaves: Speckled Egg and Broken China Distress ink
Flowers: Antique Linen and Mustard Seed Distress ink, Fossilised Amber Distress Oxide ink
Soongbird: Speckled Egg,  Broken China, Antique Linen, Kitch flamingo, Mustard Seed , Wilted Violet Distress ink, Fossilized Amber  and Black Soot Distress Oxide ink, Charming Pink Versafine Clair.
Atyou Spica Glitter gel pens and white gel pen.

I die cut the image with the Songbird Serenade coordinating die set and then I started to think about the background and the base card.

I lightly ink blended the base card center using  the Speckled Egg Distress ink and then I sprayed  over some pink and white ink.
Next up I framed in white the background using the Frame-Whorty Meraki Background A2 die cut and I glued it on the card using foam tape to add dimension.

At that point I added all the images I previously colored and die cut. I glued some blue leaves in the base card and the main image composed by flowers and songbird on the frame using foam glue dots,

As a last thing I added the little thank you sentiment I stamped using the  Songbird Serenade Stamp set and that's it!!

Here the products' recap:

Starry Night - Crafty Meraki IG hop

Hi crafty friends!
New week, new card! It's time for the third IG hop to celebrate the new Crafty Meraki release, and this is the card I made for the occasion. Hope you like it!

To make my card this time I started by the background...I used  alcohol inks , my Copic Various Ink, and blending solution to create it. I added some lines of glue and as it is semi-dried I added  gold foil flakes by Heidi Swapp.

It's really simple to make and so fun!

At this point I glued the colored background over a white base card.
Next up I die cut the top card using the A-2 Starry Night para-dies; I die cut two layers I glued together and then I glued I over the alcohol ink background.

I continued by die cut the big Hello sentiment using the Hello Moments para-dies. I die cut the base in three white layers and the top one in a gold metallic cardstock.
Once the sentiment is assembled I glued it on the card's center and as a last thing I added some white flowers to doubled the Starry Night cover.

I hope you like it!

I'm pretty happy about it !

Thank you so much for stopping by
