Floral Fans

Hi crafty friends!

I'm here today, to share with you another card featuring the  amazing "Spring in Kyoto" collection by Spellbinders, designed by Alex Syberia Designs.

To make my card I started by the background ! I first, embossed a white rectangle using the amazing Floral Fans 3D Embossing Folder  I glued it over bigger white base card. I used a 4"x5" heavy cardstock between the base and the embossed background to add a little bit of  dimension.

I continued by die cutting and assembling  two  lovely fun using the Fan & Bow Etched dies.

Once them are glued on the top of the card I added little gold beads to embellish the fans.

Next up I used the Large thanks die,  to die cut  the large sentiment in metallic gold cardstock  outlined in violet; I glued it on the card and as a last thing I added some little flowers  ( from the Fan & Bow Etched  die set) with  gold beads  in the center.

And that’s that !

Bloom And Smell flowers

Hi crafty friends!

I have a new card  to share a new card with you, today!

To make it I used the amazing Summer Flower Press Plate as a background, I stamped it using the Milled Levander Distress Oxide ink.

Once I die cut it with the largest dotted rectangle from the Nested Scalloped Frames die set , I framed it with a ultra violet cardstock and next up I glued them over a white base card.

Next up I die cut the lovely Butterly Bliss  elements from metallic gold and Bondi Blue cardstock , and once it was assembled I glued it over the lilac summer flower.

As a last thing I added the sentiments: the big one is made using the Bloom die : I die cut the base layer in ultra violet and the top one in lilac. To add dimension I glued all together 5 layers of lilac bloom word.

Next up I stamped the string sentiment from the Hoppy Easter Stamp set , and I die cut it using the Hoppy Easter Die set  coordinate dies. I doubled it with a metallic gold die cut.

Peony Blossom For Sending Hugs

Hi crafty friends!

I'm  here today, to share a new card with you!

As you know we had a new release at Alex Syberia Designs and I hadn't used the Peony Blossoms Press Plate yet, so  it's the focus of my card.

It''s a very clean and simple card with an elegant touch!

To make mu card I started by impress the Peony Blossoms Press Plate on vellum end embossing it in white. I die cut it in a rectangle using the Nested Scalloped Frames die set, and I glued it on a large dark  blue-green rectangle.

Next up I glued the top card on a white base card using foam pad to add dimension. As a last thing I added the sentiment I made using the new Essential Sentiments Press Plate and dies. I stamped and embossed it in white on a black cardstock.

As a last thing I added some silver gems and that's it!

Butterfly Bliss - Alex Syberia Designs New Release And IG Hop

As I already told you in the previous post Alex Syberia Designs  is launching their brand new July collection, you’ll find fun floral press plates and beautiful butterflies and today we are celebrating with a fun IG hop to give you the chance to win fabulous prizes and to see the beautiful Design team inspirations.

Here the card I made for the occasion:

I started by die cutting my background using the beautiful Meadow Magic Cover die.

After some corners blending with a green ink I glued it over a white card base.

Then I used the amazing Bufferly Bliss die set as star of the card.

I started by die cutting it in two layers and then blending all the elements to compose my Butterly and obviously all the flowers and the leaves included,

I used  Rustic Wilderness and Tattered Rose Distress Oxide inks and some Copic markers, Atyou Spica Glitter gel pens and white gel pen for details .

As all the elements was placed I glued the butterfly in the center card, using some foam adhesive pads to add dimension and then I arranged all around the flowers and leaves.

Than I added the white embossed sentiment from the Essential Sentiments Press Plate & Die Set.

and as a last thing I glued some rhinestones to have some light points.

That's it !

Alex Syberia Designs July Release Blog Hop & Giveaway

Now let me share the card I made for the occasion using the amazing Summer Flower Press Plate!

This plate is absolutely stunning and the card making process is so fast and satisfying

Really easier said that done!

To make this card I started by placing the Summer Flower Press Plate on my Betterpress tool and inking it using the Nocturne Versafine Clair ink ( I found that Versafine Clair works beautifully  with press plates) and I run it through my Spellbinders Platinum 6 machine to press the image into the cardstock.

As a last thing I added the sentiment  I realised using the Essential Sentiments Press Plate & Die set. I embossed in white the sentiment on a black cardstock and to add dimension I die cut it in five layers.

And that's it!

Next up I colored the flower using my Copic markers. For the disk florets  I also used Prismacolor Pencils and gel pens.

Once everything was colored I die cut the image using a  rectangle die from the Nested Scalloped Frames Die set and I glued it over a black base card.
